Privacy Policy

Effective: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the DraftLockr website and the current pre-release DraftLockr Android prototype handle information. DraftLockr is an independent early-stage project based in Arkansas, United States.

1. What exists today

DraftLockr is currently a prototype. The public website does not provide user accounts, cloud draft storage, remote package uploads, or payment processing. The current Android prototype operates locally on the user's device and does not provide DraftLockr account sync.

2. Information you choose to provide

If you email DraftLockr, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address, organization, and message. We use that information to respond, evaluate legitimate partnership or support requests, maintain appropriate business records, and protect the project from abuse.

Please do not send confidential platform information, passwords, encryption keys, unpublished creator content, or other sensitive material unless an authorized secure process has been agreed to in advance.

3. Website technical information

The website's hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser or device type, requested page, request time, and security events. DraftLockr does not currently use advertising trackers, sell personal information, or use website activity for targeted advertising.

4. Media and files in the Android prototype

The prototype lets a user choose videos through the Android system picker. It copies only the files the user selects into private, app-specific storage on that device and calculates a cryptographic fingerprint to verify integrity and identify duplicates.

In the current build, DraftLockr does not transmit selected videos, filenames, fingerprints, locally stored vault records, or sealed draft packages to a DraftLockr server. Removing locally stored items through available app controls, clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling the app may remove locally held data.

5. Sealed partner packages

The proof-of-concept Partner Sandbox can create encrypted draft packages for manual testing. DraftLockr is designed to treat those packages as opaque files. Manual export or import occurs only when the user selects a destination or file through Android. DraftLockr does not receive a participating platform's decryption keys.

6. Sharing

DraftLockr does not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that operate or secure the website, when required by law or a valid legal process, to protect users or the project, or as part of a future reorganization or transfer of the project. Service providers may use information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their applicable terms.

7. Retention and deletion

User-selected media and prototype records are currently stored locally and remain under the user's device controls. Email communications are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Hosting security logs are retained according to the hosting provider's operational schedule.

You may ask us to delete personal information you sent directly to us. We will honor applicable requests subject to legal, security, and recordkeeping requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the prototype's current design and minimize the information handled by DraftLockr. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

DraftLockr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

10. Future cloud features and policy changes

DraftLockr account sync and cloud package storage are planned concepts and are not part of the current prototype. Before introducing materially different data practices, we will update this policy and provide any notice or consent required by applicable law.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about our handling of your personal information. To make a privacy request, email us using the address below. We may need to verify the request before responding.

12. Contact

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to contact@draftlockr.com.
